"Bokeh".

(boke-aay/boke-uh)

"Bokeh (derived from Japanese, a noun boke ぼけ, meaning "blurred or fuzzy") is a photographic term referring to the appearance of out-of-focus areas in an image produced by a camera lens using a shallow depth of field."

I came across the word "bokeh" one night while browsing through the photos on Flickr and I had no clue what it meant. It sounded like some slang, so my chances on finding it on Wiki were probably nil. But anyweiii, no harm trying right?

And tada [click!] :D

They even have a group on Flickr which accepts "bokeh" pictures (HBW). And the pictures are, "ahh .___."

This guy, as far as I can tell, is one big bokeh fan.

Alright, enough of that. I'm off to spend the last few hours of 2008 with a bunch of teenagers I have never met.

p/s: Happy Birthday, Bal (for about the fifth time, ahha)!
